Manage Your Password

In September 2021, The College changed password management systems. The change in systems will enhance our cybersecurity. To utilize this new system all students, faculty and staff will need to complete a one-time registration. This registration will take place the first time you log into any application that uses the single sign-on authentication. Applications that use single sign on include (list not exhaustive):

  • myMack

  • Xfinity on campus

  • Academic Impressions

  • iGrad

  • Meraki

  • LiveWhale

  • JAMF Pro

Starting on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 when you log into any of the applications listed above, the registration process will prompt you to add a cell phone number or three security questions that can be used to recover your account if you are ever locked out. The recommendation is to set up both methods so that you have multiple options for password recovery.


Once this one time registration is complete you will be able to reset your own Merrimack password. You can initiate your password recovery when needed on either of the login screens of one of the above applications by clicking “Can’t access your account” or “Forgot my password”. You will also now be able to reset your password from off-campus by visiting myaccount.microsoft.com and clicking “Password” in the left navigation.
